The National Council on Economic Education works to improve education in economics and increase the number of economics classes taught in schools and colleges. Its members include economists, educators, and businesspeople. The organization develops courses of study, provides educators with updated teaching materials, and conducts workshops on economic education. The council’s many publications include Journal of Economic Education, Economic Education Experiences of Enterprising Teachers, Economics for Kids, and Senior Economist.
